Spring is finally upon us! The flowers & trees have started budding bringing with them the promise of warmer weather and gorgeous gardens along with it. And this has got us thinking of the beautiful tulips, daffodils & hyacinths soon to come. The month of May is absolutely stunning in the Public Garden and is one of our favorite months to photograph kids and their families' outside in a natural light session.

This reminded me of one of my all-time favorite sessions in the park that Susan has photographed so I wanted to share this family's story with you. This session actually took place on this little girl's 3rd birthday and when we were talking to her mom about her ideas, she told us that she wanted a park session and it had to be in the Boston Public Garden. Because they live so close to the park and walk through it so often, the family views it as their very own backyard and mommy wanted to be sure to capture this special time & place in her little girl's life. Well needless to say, we all got lucky and the weather cooperated with us too. We had a gorgeous day and were able to capture some breathtaking family heirlooms that will live with this family for many years to come. It is truly moments like these that make us all love what we do!
